Welcome to the website of the Friends of St Leonard’s Church at Hythe in Kent.

Here you can find out about the Friends of St Leonard’s and particularly the programme of concerts and other performances that the Friends organise throughout the year.

Forthcoming Concerts

After the disappointment of all concerts to date in the Friends programme for 2020 having been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are delighted to announce that a virtual version of this year’s JAM on the Marsh festival will be streamed from St Leonard’s Church during 7-16 August. Nine concerts have been pre-recorded in the church – observing strict and rigorous social distancing and other health and safety guidelines – and include the world premiere of Paul Mealor’s Piano Concerto with the London Mozart Players; The Gesualdo Six, Fauré Requiem, with new poetry by Grahame Davies; and Onyx Brass performing British jazz for brass quintet.

For full programme schedule see Concerts page.

There is a church car park with limited space to the east of the building. If using satnav to reach the church or car park, use postcode CT21 5DN.
